HED International, Inc. introduces a new series of electric kilns designed to provide the high level of temperature control and uniformity required by todays manufacturer’s of high tech ceramic products.<\/p>\n

Electric "Smart" Kiln<\/p><\/div>\n

The UNIQUE\/PERENY Model UEK-27 achieves heating rates as low as 1\u00b0C\/hr throughout the firing cycle from ambient to 1300\u00b0C(2372\u00b0F). This unprecedented level of temperature control is accomplished by a novel combination of preheated air injectors and resistance heating technology. Initial heating is performed with preheated air (up to 700\u00b0C) which is injected at multiple locations for maximum recirculation and excellent temperature uniformity. At higher temperatures, the control system provides the operator with the flexiblity of selecting a combination of resistance heating elements and preheated air or just resistance heating elements.<\/p>\n

Additional features include kiln pressure control, current monitoring of heater zones, and an option for data acquisition with HED’s kiln HMI package.<\/p>\n
